Meves House Project
Overall, extremely pleased! Fantastic work, and fantastic crew. We have had so many compliments and we are so happy to have partnered with you on this project.
I went ahead and tried to cleanly organize some notes. Looks like more than there is. Mostly comes down what we have already spoken about before, including final touchups, the gutter adjustment, and adding the forgotten ridge vent. Most other things I can handle.
Should be able to clicks photos to make them larger as needed.
Siding
Few example pictures below of areas that could use some love. If someone walked around the house with filler/paint for both colors, could be an easy in and out in 30 minutes I am sure. I’m only worried about the first floor. I climbed to the second floor, but no one is going to notice any blemishes that high. Feels like some areas (especially on the white) may not be a lack of paint, but rather black stuff smeared onto the boards? Thinking caulk?
Roof
One small chunk of a tile missing. Is this ok?
More importantly, I believe we still need to install the ridge vent in this area above our living room seen in second photo.
Gutters
Move gutter to front of house as it was originally. This is probably highest on my list as I have had water pooling in this area with rains.
Yard
Now that the snow is gone, I went out today and cleared up the rest of the debris. As I would expect, still finding lots of nails. Some still a bit stuck to the frozen ground. Would it be possible to drop off a magnet wand/roller for a weekend once we are thawed a little more? I would be more than happy to do a deep sweet myself for an hour or so. We move and park the camper and trailer around the yard… not to mention have barefoot kids and dogs running around.
As far as the front yard where the dumpster was, I am more than happy to rake that out smooth and seed it in the spring. There will probably need to be some new soil brought in to fill that. I can also take care of, but if anyone happens to any soil on hand and/or while fixing other places… let me know!
Other
Does this roofline in the front look out of place to you? I understand the gutters need to slowly slope down, but this area seems to pop out a bit more than I would have guessed.
